Jessica Cruz inherited the mysterious Power Ring from the otherworldly Crime Syndicate member of the same name. She trained her mind and her willpower, allowing her to control the evil ring since she seemingly could not rid herself of it. When this Power Ring broke in a confrontation with the “Black Racer” entity, her newfound willpower allowed her to take up the mantle of a Green Lantern!
